Milimani holds carol service

The Milimani law courts Community held its annual Carols service on 18th December 2018. The annual event brought together judicial officers and staff from Milimani Law Courts main and the Milimani commercial Court. The event was the third and is the brainchild of the chairperson of the Milimani Leadership and Management Team (LMT) Hon Lady Justice Jessie Lesiit.nnSpeaking during the service, Justice Lesiit said the event promotes unity and cohesion among staff. nnThe Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Anne Amadi who was the chief guest commended the court for coming up with the idea saying the event fostered unity in the institution. Justice Aggrey Muchelule who represented the Judicial Service Commission wished the staff a great holiday and emphasized that JSC valued all its employees and the input they give and thus all judiciary staff and officers were equally important. The guest speaker was Ms. Betty Adera who urged the judiciary employees to realize the noble responsibility that was bestowed upon them by God and dispense it with due diligence and faithfulness. She urged the staff and officers present to be willing to go an extra mile in order to serve the Mwanachi well.nThe event also saw each division and directorate in Milimani making a Christmas carols song presentation. There was also a presentation done by judges combined, and magistrates and legal researchers combined. The event climaxed with the guest of honour, the Chief Registrar, lighting up the Christmas tree and cutting the cake to mark the event.nn nn nn
