Judiciary holds National Day of Prayer and Fasting to commemorate CJ’s One Year in Office

The Judiciary is leveraging on technology to enhance efficiency by working towards the establishment of fully functional e-courts throughout the country.

Chief Justice Martha Koome said the Judiciary has partnered with Huduma Kenya to operationalise Judiciary Desks at 52 Huduma Kenya centres.

“One of the game-changing initiatives we are pursuing to deepen access to justice is the rollout of the Small Claims Courts,” Chief Justice Martha Koome.

She said  the courts determine cases that involve claims of less than Sh1 million through simplicity, efficiency and expeditiousness in delivery of decisions.

The CJ was speaking at the Supreme Court building during the Judiciary National Day of Prayer and Fasting, to commemorating the CJ’s One Year in Office, that were also held simultaneously across all courts in the country.
