Prof Wekesa appears before the JSC panel for CJ’s position

Prof Dr. Dr  Moni Wekesa appeared before the Judicial Service Commission to be interviewed for the position of the Chief Justice of the Republic of Kenya. Prof Wekesa is the 9th candidate to appear before the panel chaired by Prof Olive Mugenda. Others who have already been interviewed are High Court Judge Said Chitembwe, Senior Counsel Prof Kameri Mbote, Court of Appeal Judge Martha Koome, ELRC Judge Marete Njagi, Senior Counsel Philip Murgor, ELRC Judge Mathews Nduma Nderi, Senior Counsel Fredrick Ngatia and Justice William Ouko.nn nn
