DCJ ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF 36 INMATES IN LANGATA WOMEN PRISON

Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu cuts a cake to mark Madaraka Day celebrations at Langata Women Prison. The DCJ announced release of 36 convicts and review of sentences for five inmates in Langata Women Prison. Justice Mwilu also assured remandees that their cases will be expeditiously heard and determined since the Judiciary is committed to sustaining transformation. The DCJ was accompanied by the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Anne Amadi, two Court Of Appeal judges, four High Court judges and several magistrates
