Condolence Message to Senior Resident Magistrate Caroline Kemei on the death of her daughter

I have learnt with great shock about the untimely death of your daughter, Maribel Kapolon.

On behalf of my family, the entire Judiciary and on my own behalf, I wish to express our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to you and the rest of your family.

I am aware that the circumstances behind her tragic death make it all the more painful for you and your family. Our thoughts are with you and we pray that the God of all Peace will heal the wounds left by Maribel’s demise.

I would like to assure you that every effort is being made to find and punish her killers. I have already talked to the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government and the Director of Criminal Investigations, and they have given me a firm assurance that everything is being done to bring them to book.
