CJ Koome meets with High Court Advisory Committee team

Chief Justice Martha Koome held a meeting with the High Court Advisory Committee at the Supreme Court to discuss actions to improve access to justice, which will include undertaking a Rapid Results Initiative across all court stations that will see the conclusion of 6,500 cases.nn nnThe High Court will undertake an in-depth audit of all pending cases and a case census to update the Case Tracking System (CTS).nn nn“We shall increase the efficiency of the court by setting up a Serious Crimes Division of the High Court at the Kahawa Law Courts,” CJ saidnn nnShe added: “We have embarked on a renewed quest of making our courts, including the High Court, centres of excellence in service delivery.”nn nn nn nn
