Chief Justice Martha Koome hosted Andrew Corley of Prison Fellowship International (PFI), Samuel Owen and Hon. Justice Cecilia Githua at the Supreme Court to discuss the state of prison reforms locally and internationally.nnThe Prisons Service is a council member of the National Council on the Administration of Justice and plays a crucial role in promoting access to justice, a key pillar to the Constitution of Kenya.nn”In the spirit of partnership, we hope PFI collaborates with the Kenya Judiciary to share prison reform success models and alternative rehabilitation approaches to promote access to justice to all Kenyans, especially the most vulnerable,” the CJ said. nn nn
